- How do I care for my smooth leather babouches?
Care instructions
- Regularly dust them with a soft, dry cloth.
- In case of stains, use a slightly damp (never wet) cloth and gently rub the affected area.
- Condition the leather with a colorless cream or one that matches the leather color once a month or whenever it appears dry.
- Avoid prolonged contact with water. If your babouches get wet, let them air dry away from any heat source
How do I care for my suede leather babouches (suede, nubuck, or split leather)?
- Gently brush with a crepe or soft brass brush to lift the nap and remove dust.
- For stains, use a suede eraser or a dry brush.
- As a preventive measure, you can apply a suede-friendly waterproofing spray before first use.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, water, or repeated friction, as these can affect the color.
Can I wash them by hand or in the washing machine?
No. Our babouches should never be machine-washed or soaked in water. Leather is a living, natural material, and gentle care is enough to extend its lifespan.
